We also provide communities with skills and services in first aid, health and sanitation, disaster preparedness, and humanitarian law. Established by an Act of Parliament in 1982, VRCS has a branch in every province, ensuring we stay in touch with local communities and can respond to emergencies and disasters as soon as help is needed. Our Movement's mission is to prevent or reduce human suffering, wherever it is found, using our Fundamental Principles as a guide.
